Greg Childs Out for Season After Injuring Both Knees in Practice

Another day, another injury at Vikings training camp. Greg Childs has severely injured both of his knees in Saturday night's scrimmage.

"Greg Childs suffered a torn patella tendon on both his right and left knee last night," the Vikings said. "Childs is expected to have them surgically repaired within the next few days."

He suffered the same injury in college.

The worst has happened. This injury will make him sit out the 2012 season, or even end his career. It's wasn't pretty. Multiple reports from Mankato said he "scream in pain" as he went down.

It's an extremely hard injury to come back from, and if he does come back better than before, it will be a miracle.
